The 7km long toboggan run, as well as the 3km long floodlit night piste, are both located on our local mountain, the Hochwurzen. Schladming 2013 – Alpine Ski World Championships

In 2013, Schladming will be the venue for the world championships. The whole region has already been making preparations and you can already benefit from the new lift facilities and improvements. The state-of-the-art and newly built lower terminus of Planet Planai was introduced in November 2010 and marks the newest access point to the ski region.

While Ramsau on the Dachstein, only 10 minutes away, is a true Mecca for cross-country skiers, the Schladminger Tauern provide you with little-known, but very beautiful secret spots for cross-country skiers. There are also 280km of winter hiking trails leading through the wonderful winter snowscapes.
