Alpenrose (Mountain Azalea) blooms & Spring Hiking
Spring is back
While the summits are still covered with snow, spring has already been returning to the valley. Luscious colours leave their imprint on the landscapes and warm temperatures ensure lovely conditions for hiking in Styria.
After a long winter everyone is looking forward to the first hike. Apart from the blooming flora there is another impressive spectacle happening: the small gorges, which wind their way down the mountainsides, take the snowmelt with them and develop into arrogant streams, which can be heard before you can even see them.
You benefit from various reductions and discounts with the Schladming-Dachstein summer card, which you will receive, free on arrival. As a partner hotel we provide you with the card on your arrival day at the Rohrmooserhof Hotel.
