Lake Duisitzkarsee
Tour time:
1.5 hours
Short
description: Rohrmoos – Obertal Talschluss – hike along the forest road or
through the forest, both are possible - Duisitzkarsee – Duisitzkarsee hut –
Farlech hut. Tip: beautiful lake – cosy huts.
Dachstein Skywalk
Short description: marvellous views over the Ennstal valley and beyond can be enjoyed on the Dachstein Skywalk – at the same time you get to know the region’s landmark. The ascent with the cable car from Ramsau takes only 5 minutes and after arrival on the top, you have the opportunity to enjoy a circular walk. You can also enjoy skiing and cross country skiing here. The Skywalk is located directly at the Dachstein upper terminus. Tip: in the summer you can enjoy the sunrise from the Dachstein Skywalk.
Riesach waterfall and the path “Durch die Höll”
Tour time: 1.5 - 2 hours
Short description: starting in Rohrmoos in the direction of Untertal until the head of the valley – here the tour starts: you can either go along the forest road or through the forest. Both ways pass the natural spectacle of the Riesach waterfall. You can then continue the tour over the ravine “Die Höll” to Lake Riesachsee – the adventure of this path leads you alongside impressive white water, but note that the entrance is a chain bridge. Tip: if you don’t want to go through the entrance “Die Höll” you can continue your hike on the forest road. On arrival you can enjoy the Riesachsee lake. Tip: several routes are available for your hiking tour.
Viehbergalm
Tour time: 2 hours
Tip: you will be rewarded for your hike with a beautiful hut-filled valley with enough space for your children to play – at the Viehbergalm hut you will be served the legendary and best alpine coffee, whose recipe is top secret – this tour is guided by our host.
Putzenalm on the Schwarzensee lake
Tour time: 2 hours
Tip: you will be rewarded for your hike with a beautiful hut-filled valley with enough space for your children to play – at the Viehbergalm hut you will be served the legendary and best alpine coffee, whose recipe is top secret – this tour is guided by our host.
Golling hut
Tour time: 2 hours
Short description: Rohrmoos – Untertal – Waldhäuslalm – Riesach waterfall (short detour) – along the forest path – Golling hut. Tip: inviting alpine meadow – you can reach the Hochgolling and the Klafferkessel from here.
Styrian Kalkspitze
Tour time: 3 hours
Short description: Rohrmoos - Preunegg – Preuneggtal road – car park – Ursprungalm – broad hiking path – Giglachsee lake – Giglachsee hut – path to Styrian Kalkspitze – (Lungauer Kalkspitze right next to it). Tip: marvellous summit with views over the valley
